Introduction

Energy training and research center (ETRC) is a not-for-profit organization that emerged out of the merger of already well-established energy training center and prenac www.prenac.org in order to have one integrated platform with the addition of research area to enhance its capacity toward full energy training and research portfolio. Energy training focus will be toward green, clean, and fossil-free energy, and research focus will be on energy policy, regulations, markets, and standards.

ETRC, a premier training institute in Pakistan, has solidified its standing as a leader in delivering top-notch technical training to engineers. Achieving a milestone in excellence, ETRC is now an accredited body of Traccert Canada, an esteemed organization known for recognizing only the finest training institutes globally. This prestigious accreditation enables ETRC to offer internationally recognized training programs under the auspices of Traccert Canada, further enhancing its commitment to providing world-class educational opportunities to professionals seeking to advance their skills and careers.

Chief Executive Officer Master Trainer

Faiz Muhammad Bhutta

He is Solar and Renewable Energy Expert, Trainer and Consultant. He is PEC Certified Professional Engineer in Electrical discipline with MBA and MS in Business Administration Coupled with more than 30 years of experience of working in the areas of Automation & Control, ICT, Water Pumping, Renewable Energy and Energy Management. He has served on various managerial and technical positions in National and International Companies like ZELIN, INTECH, COMSATS, GRUNDFOS and IZHAR GROUP. During this period he has completed various projects related to Industrial automation, Networking and Internet, Water Pumping and Controls, Solar and Small Hydro Projects.

Moiz A Khan

Mr. Moiz is an Economics and International Affairs Major from George Washington University, USA. He has experience of working in the USA at Barclaycard and SWIFT. He has spearheaded commercial growth since 2014, furthering business development, diversification and value-added partnerships in SB Group. He is also a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Lahore Chamber of Commerce and The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE)

Engr. Wazir Ali Khan

Mr. Wazir is an Electrical Engineer Major from Purdue University, USA. He has experience of working at SB Group since June 2010. He is responsible for the development of all current and future Technologies that is in use by SB Clients. He is also a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). In his free time he loves to play Golf and has competed Internationally.

Yousaf Khan

Yousaf Khan developed his passion for solar right after graduating from Regents Business School. He has been involved in the domestic solar market since 2008. As a Business Development Manager of Flying Paper Mills, one of Pakistanis biggest paper manufacturer, he had the privilege to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the engineering and marketing sector. When he is not monitoring or servicing solar systems he can be found hiking, traveling or working on new innovative ideas.

Komal Faiz

Komal Faiz is a UX researcher. She is a global shaper at the World Economic Forum (WEF); founder of Design Pakistan; runs a podcast called South Asian Female Travellers; and is a member of the ‘Design Research Society.’ She has a master in strategic foresight & innovation from OCADU, Canada.Prior to her current role at Zensurance, she worked as a design researcher for a project on ‘women’s mobility’ funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council, UK, in collaboration with Coventry University, University of Malaya, and Design Pakistan.
